It begins with pre-fermentation maceration at temperature of 10-12ºC. Fermentation follows in Stainless steel mills with robotic temperature treading controlled temperature that does not exceed 30ºC, which provides a strong extraction of the constituents present in the films. The aromatic intensity and its elegance are due to the dominance of the Touriga Franca grape varieties, Touriga Nacional and the presence of many other grape varieties Douro nobles from very old vines with more than one hundred years. Sousão contributes in a way significant for its structure, concentration and persistence. Tinto Cão contributes in turn to its freshness and elegance. In order to optimize the quality and the desired profile, a careful qualitative selection of the spirit that is distinguished by its organoleptic elegance. This lot of aromas together with those coming from the strong extraction gives rise to the intensity and elegance typical of an LBV.

This wine has a maturation in French Oak containers used 640 liters for 2 years. During this period the wine is subject to racking, analysis and tasting that allow you to monitor its evolution and define the final batch.

Deep red color with violet tones. Intense, concentrated and complex aroma dominated ripe black fruits, such as blackberries, plums and cassis, and balsamic hairs such as cistus, resins, cedar and other exotic woods. It also starts perception of its tertiary aromas coming from its evolution and age, which contribute greatly to its aromatic complexity. It has an acidity balanced, ripe tannins well involved in its volume and body, which as a whole, contribute to a persistent, harmonious and elegant finish.
