Villa Alvor Negra Mole
- Description
Only the best Negra-Mole grapes are used for this wine. These are macerated for 4 days, followed by pumping over for 10 days. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures around 22º in order to preserve the most delicate primary aromas. The wine's silky texture and perfect integration of aromas are the result of 8 months of aging in French oak barrels, followed by 4 months of aging in the bottle.
The red and white berries of Villa Alvor Negra Mole, mixed in the same bunch, create a smooth and fresh red, with a velvety texture. The aromas, of forest fruits and wild flowers, first appear on the nose and then expand in the mouth. The tannins are extremely round, a characteristic reinforced by the short aging in wood, leaving a velvety sensation. Given the softness of the tannins, the freshness of this wine reveals itself more clearly, leaving a pleasant sensation in the mouth and an aroma that persists at the end of the tasting.
Villa Alvor Negra Mole is perfect for a meal of tuna carpaccio or octopus dishes.
